What does "We The North", mean?
The Toronto Raptors' anthem is "We The North", also known under the name We The North Nation. It was created by Drake and Noah Shebib (producer).
Drake wrote the song while visiting a Toronto friend. He finished recording his album Take Care with fellow artist Kanye West. While there, Drake decided to write some lyrics about his hometown. He wanted it to be something that could represent all Canadians. It is about unity, pride, hope.
Drake began writing the melody for We The North while he was in London filming the video of "Nice For What". The song's instrumental version was recorded in just one take.
Drake was writing lyrics for the song when 40 suggested the chorus. After hearing the hook, Drake thought it sounded like a great idea and asked if he would record it. Together, they worked to create the final product.
The official music clip for "We The North Anthem", released on October 5, 2018, was made public. It featured Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes performing along with Drake and other musicians.
Why are Toronto Raptors called Raptors
In 1995, the NBA expanded into Canada and created the Toronto Raptors. The name and logo of the team were inspired by Jurassic Park's film. The team colours include bright red, purple and black as well as silver.
The Raptors were struggling to establish themselves in the league during their first season. They ended up with a record 21-61. They improved every year, and in 1999 they were ready to make their first playoff appearance.
The Raptors' most memorable moment in 2019 was when they won their first NBA championship title. Toronto's first title was won by Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry, their backcourt duo. They defeated the Golden State Warriors in six thrilling games.
The Raptors have been a beloved team in Canada since then. Toronto continues bringing excitement to basketball fans across the world with its international superstars as well as local talent.
Canada's proud heritage is represented by the Toronto Raptors. Their success on the courts inspires young basketball players all over the country. The Raptors are a beloved team in Canada thanks to their passion, unmatched style of play and dedication to excellence.

Concession stands selling nachos are one of the most popular. These cheesy snack options include toppings such as cheese sauce, jalapenos, and bacon bits.
You could also purchase tickets to a party before the game. These events are hosted by many restaurants, where guests can enjoy food before they enter the arena.
